How to Win
Mahjong136 is played with up to four players. Each player starts with 13 tiles. To win a round, you must complete a winning hand by drawing and discarding tiles: 4 melds + 1 pair (or 7 pairs).
See the example image below: Player 西 discards the 5 of Dots, and you (北) are waiting for that tile to complete your hand. When the tile is discarded, you can claim it to win. Tap Hu (胡) to declare the win; the round then ends and you receive your score.

Back to the beginning: Please tap the icon in the top-right corner to return to the main menu.

The dealer for this round is the first player (東 / East). You (北 / North) have the 7 of Dots. Your goal is to complete a winning hand by drawing and discarding tiles: 4 melds and 1 pair.
Please refer to the highlighted rectangles in the Dot suit section. Try to form Pungs (triples), Chows (sequences), and one pair to win this round.
Pung (碰): Form a triple by claiming a tile discarded by one of the other three players.

After you Pung (碰) a tile discarded by the first player (東 / East), you must discard a tile—for example, the 1 of Characters. Once a meld is formed by claiming another player’s discard, it becomes fixed and cannot be changed later.
Before entering “Ready Hand (聽牌)”:

You (北 / North) draw the 8 of Dots, which can complete the sequence (7,8,9). After you choose to discard the 5 of Bamboos, your hand becomes Ready Hand (聽牌) for this round: one Pung (1,1,1), three Chows (3,4,5), (7,8,9), (4,5,6), and one pair (東,東).
Win the run: Please refer to "How to win"

Scoring:

Item #4: You (北 / North) win this round by claiming a tile discarded by the second player (西 / West). You gain 50 points.
Item #3: The second player (西 / West) loses 50 points.
Item #2: The (莊) icon indicates the dealer. If the winner or loser is the dealer, the score change is ±50 points (an additional 50 points compared with a non-dealer result).
Item #1: This number shows how many tiles remain in the wall. If it reaches 10, the round ends in a draw.
Item #5: Proceed to the next round.
Chow (吃, #1): Form a sequence by claiming a tile discarded by the player to your left (only).

Only the next player in turn (the player to the discarder’s left) can claim a tile to Chow.
You can ignore a Pung, Chow, or Kong opportunity by selecting Pass (過).
Chow (吃, #2): More than one possible combination.

The third player discards the 6 of Dots. You (北 / North) have more than one possible Chow (sequence) you can form with it.
Chow (吃, #3): More than one possible combination.

After you select Chow (吃), you can choose only one of the two tiles:
Select 5 → Chow: (5,6,7)
Select 7 → Chow: (6,7,8)
Chow (吃, #4): More than one possible combination.

The 5 of Dots is selected to form the Chow (5,6,7).
Chow (吃, #5): More than one possible combination.

Done. Now select one tile to discard.
Kong (槓, #1):

You can form a Kong by claiming a tile discarded by any other player, or by adding a fourth matching tile to a set you already have after drawing it yourself. In the example above, you can choose to Pung (碰) by claiming the discarded tile.
Kong (槓, #2):

Done. After declaring a Kong, you will draw one extra tile.
